Race MaXx

Race MaXx

How Long Does It Burn For?

Each Exposure MaXx model has the same burn times for each of the 3 main settings. The difference is as simple as 1,2,3. Depending on whether you choose 1, 2 or 3 LEDs (Joystick/Race/Enduro)

MaXx: 3 hrs / Ride: 10 hrs / Low: 24 hrs / Flashing: Days!

How Bright Is It?
Again in 2008 we are using the World's leading LED technology. The new Seoul emitters run brighter and more efficiently than the previous Luxeon LEDs allowing Exposure Lights to give you previously unheard of brightness. WARNING: Never look directly into the LEDs even if you're wearing sunglasses!

Race MaXx on: MaXx: 480 lumens / Ride: 240 Lumens / Low: 120 Lumens What's The Beam Pattern Like?
Exposure lights exclusively use collimated lens techonology. These lenses are World renowned as the most efficient optics to be used with LEDs. Moving on from our previous model ranges, we have this year developed "Dual Beam Optics" (DBO) in our collimated lens. What we have acheived is the perfect combination of flood and spot beam pattern in a single collimated lens that measures only 18mm in diameter! Using the same DBO lens across the MaXx range gives optimum beam pattern on the trail or on the road from each light. Again, it's as simple as 1,2,3 whether you have a Joystick, Race or Enduro light, each uses the same DBO lens.

What Extras Do I Get For My Money?

Race MaXx is supplied with the new Exposure universal QR (Quick Release) bracket. One size fits all, 25.4 - 31.8 handlebar size. Simply bolt the bracket "cleat" to the light and click the light onto the bracket. The dovetail design mounting makes the light totally secure on the handlebars. Pull down the red button to release the light. Simple! No tools required!

Every Exposure MaXx light comes with smart charger. Chargers are available as: UK / Euro / US / Asia plugs. The smart charger has an LED that varies between Red and Green, depending on its state of charge. Red = Charging, Green = Charged.

What Upgrades Are Available?

Every Exposure MaXx light works with the new "Piggyback" battery system. 1 or 3 cell "Piggyback" batteries are available and plug in to the charger port of any light to extend your burn times...... to the MaXx!

What Size Is The Race MaXx?
All the new MaXx Lights are seriously small. All lights are based on a simple cylinder and the Race MaXx measures 46mm wide by 106mm long. This is the same as the Enduro MaXx.

PIGGYBACK BATTERIES "Piggyback" Battery Explained

Our new range of MaXx lights already have impressive burn times which are more than adequate for most people, However, the "Piggyback" battery feature allows the burn times to be extended up to 96 hours at maximum! The most impressive burn time return on a Piggyback battery is a Joystick with a 3 cell "Piggyback" attached. Simply by plugging a "Piggyback" lithium-ion battery into the charger port and attaching the extra battery beneath your stem you can add burn times equivalent to the Joystick or Enduro MaXx by adding either a 1 or 3 cell battery. Our "Piggyback" batteries use new cell technology manufactured by the World leaders in Lithium Ion battery technology - Sanyo. The idea of the Piggyback battery is to plug the battery into the light at the start of use. This will allow you to use the light on MaXx, Ride and High for a largely extended period of time. If the battery is plugged in with the light half charged, the Ride and Low modes will be avilable.

The Piggyback batteries can be mounted either on your stem / handlebar, helmet or in your backpack - making your extra burn time flexible in all aspects!
