QuickRack Athlete 4BThe Quick Rack Athlete 4B from Pletscher of Switzerland is an excellent product that combines light weight, high quality build and a unique 3-point quick release system that makes it perfect for our foldable bikes. The rack attaches with a quick release clamp around the seatpost and by two specially shaped plates and bolt-fixings at the ends of the vertical support struts. Simply release the seatpost clamp, rotate the rack and pull the struts away from the special fixings and your rack is off - in seconds! The rack itself features a handy spring loaded clamp on top and can take a maximum load of 25kgs (55lbs). It is compatible with most popular pannier systems and is ideal for anyone who needs to carry more weight than our MTX beam rack will allow, yet still needs the convenience of being able to fold their bike quickly.
Please note that this rack is NOT compatible with the Topeak MTX rack bags due to their use of an integrated QuickTrack fitting. It is however, compatible with most other pannier systems that clip to the sides of the rack or use straps to secure them. |
